Mobile car diagnostics in Tampa

Diagnostics is what we're known for. A proper scan, live data while the engine runs, and a straight answer about what's actually wrong — not a parts-cannon guess.

What you actually get for $95

A code reader at the parts store gives you a number. A number is not a diagnosis. A P0301 tells you cylinder one is misfiring; it does not tell you whether that's a coil, a plug, an injector, a vacuum leak or a compression problem — and those are four very different bills.

We pull the codes, then we watch the car run. Live fuel trims, sensor voltages, misfire counts, and freeze-frame data from the moment the fault happened. Where it's needed we go further with a scope on the circuit. Then we tell you what's wrong, what it costs to fix, and what can safely wait.

The $95 comes off the repair

If you have us do the work, the diagnostic fee is credited against the final price. So the scan effectively costs you nothing and you're never paying twice to find out what's wrong.

If you'd rather take the answer elsewhere, that's fine too. You keep the report either way — no hard feelings and no pressure.

We come to the car

Your car doesn't need to start, and it doesn't need to be towed. We work in driveways, apartment parking spaces, office lots and on the roadside, anywhere across Tampa Bay from 9am to 9pm.

That matters most with intermittent faults. A car that misbehaves on your commute often behaves perfectly by the time it's sat in a shop queue for two days.

Questions

Diagnostics, answered

Do you charge the diagnostic fee if I don't get the repair done?

Yes — the $95 covers the time and equipment. But if you do have us do the repair, the full $95 comes off the final bill.

Can you diagnose a car that won't start at all?

Yes. A no-start is one of the most common calls we get. We test the battery, the charging system, the starter circuit and the fuel and ignition side on the spot.

What if the check engine light is on but the car drives fine?

Still worth scanning. Plenty of codes that don't change how the car feels will still fail you at emissions or quietly damage a catalytic converter, which is a far bigger bill later.

Need it sorted today?

Call or text and tell us what the car is doing. We're on the road from 9am to 9pm, seven days a week, and there's no travel fee anywhere we go.
